Our victory in this election is a credit to all of you who have helped at every step of the way: walking precincts both with me and on your own, reaching out to friends and neighbors, writing letters to the editor, contributing money, putting up yard signs at your home, and, most of all, voting for reason over fear, thought over emotion, and integrity over special interests. The job ahead of us is a difficult one, without an easy answer or a quick fix. I will continue to need your support as we move ahead, proving services to Petalumans while we work to grow our city’s revenues in this difficult economy. This is a time to reach out and work together with all Petalumans for our city’s fiscal health. We will need to keep working hard to secure the best outcome for our city and its residents. I want to continue to hear from you. And, I ask you to stay involved, and to get even more involved. Petaluma needs its progressive voice to be heard at every level. Continue to support those on our Council who speak for what is best for Petaluma—today and tomorrow. Teresa Barrett
